A New Beginning for Reception

Reception's Journey begins at Merryhills' Primary! Over the last few weeks, our Early Years team have been helping children settle into school life, build confidence, and enjoy learning through play. We’re committed to creating a calm, welcoming start where every child feels safe, valued, and ready to explore. Reception children have been incredible, and we’re looking forward to celebrating their progress as they learn routines, make friends, and develop key skills for the year ahead.
